Mad disaster no-brain hangover after the Wired Rave Awards party / concert last night. Sadly missed Danger Mouse. Liked the Polyphonic Spree more than I thought I would (much respect to them for covering David Bowie’s Memory of a Free Festival).
Met with Tomo for lunch today to talk “next book” stuff at the shadiest pupusa restaurant in the world. Now, we have three prospective projects to shop around (any takers?)
Press Battlefield Report: interviewed about Anime City and such over at Fanboy Radio (MP3s of the broadcast should be up there in a bit). Also talked to ace reporter Yuriko Furusawa of the Nichi Bei Times on the popularity of Japanese pop culture in America. And going to do a Q&A for ActiveAnime.com sometime soon. Oh, and here's the Bay Guardian's review of Anime City.
Sorry, no slanderous anime rumors to make you salivate today, largely because my brain feels like it’s going to fly out of my skull with pain.
Bah! I'm cool cus I was scoping this site long before you talked anime. Anyway, since you like Bowie so much, check out http://www.japander.com/japander/bowie.htm and http://www.amanosworld.com/html/v-news.html .
