I've just been informed that JAPANESE SCHOOLGIRL INFERNO has been nominated for the American Library Association's "Books for Reluctant Readers" program.
While pounding this book out, I never guessed that it might some day join the ranks of "Bunnicula" and "A Hero Ain't Nothin But a Sandwich", but there you go...
As the author I kinda doubt you mind any extra exposure.
And, well... It definitely seems like a book that could go well for people, ahem, not -that- interested in reading :P

Just noticed that the book is on this week's Diamond shipping list. This should get itinto the hands of thousand of excited young fans who bought one of the few copies their local comic shop ordered.
They then will show it to their envious friends who will rush out to buy it.
Another step towards making the name Patrick Macias known to households all over the world!
