I love NY! Just back from the New York Anime Festival and found out that New York Magazine has honored Fumiyo Kouno’s manga Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms by selecting it as one of the Best Comics of the year for their 2007 Culture Awards.
I co-edited the book, which was produced by my company jaPRESS (I officially became a partner a few months back) and published in conjunction with Last Gasp.
