One can always make time for Japanese tough guys. Speaking of which, I'm absolutely crushed. I just learned I missed a Nikkatsu film festival here in Seattle....Warped Ones, Glass Johnny, Velvet Hustler, and A Colt My Passport. Damn.

PM - the fact that you don't have more images of Bunta draped on your blog is a crime itself. where are you hiding these picassos?
dangling cigarette, broken bottle, sandals and leisure jacket...that dude is Charles Bronson x10. i'd wear that jacket in a heartbeat.
