ComiPo! manga creation software debuts in English
Revolutionary software from Japan allows anyone to make high quality comics with the click of a mouse
TOKYO, Japan, September 8, 2011 - ComiPo LLP is proud to announce today’s launch of the trial edition of ComiPo! manga creation software and the release of the full English version of ComiPo! on September 15, 2011.
Developed in Japan by ComiPo LLP, ComiPo! is a revolutionary new software application that allows anyone to make high quality comics and manga. Users can easily create their own unique stories and situations simply by choosing and posing one of the 3D characters included with ComiPo! The program also offers over 100 unique body poses and facial expressions to choose from, along with many background images, items, sound effects, word balloons…everything needed to make a visually impressive and professional looking comic come to life.
Released in Japan in December 2010, over 3,000 copies of the Japanese edition of ComiPo! were sold in the first month alone. The software – aimed at consumers who want to create manga, but who lack drawing skills – has since won numerous awards and has created a large community of Japanese ComiPo! users. The new English version of ComiPo! offers the same unique creative experience to overseas customers who are fans of anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture and who are interested in making and sharing their own comics.
The full retail English version of ComiPo! is priced at US$49.95 and will be available on September 15, 2011 from online retailers including Crunchyroll.com, E.P. Center INC. (comipo.biz), and Appreciation, Inc. (comradz.com). The free English Trial Edition of ComiPo! is currently available for download at crunchyroll.com/comipo and comipo.biz.
